A Sweet Wedding Card

Hello and welcome to a new post for Hiding in my Craft Room. I haven't been hiding in my craft room so much lately... Instead I've been spending some quality time with family and taking care of hubby who got sick last week and that's the reason why I didn't make a HIMCR card last Saturday.

This time we have a sweet challenge for you all: Wedding.

Our sponsor
The Paper Shelter

is giving away a $20 gift certificate
to one lucky winner!

I had the chance to work with one of their sweet images. To my surprise their files include a pre-colored digi!

Materials:
The Paper Shelter - The Happy Couple
Spellbinders: Damask Motifs, Gold Circles One, Gold Labels Four, Iron Works embossing folder, Grand Calibur die cutting machine.

Distress ink in Old Paper
Merletto crystals
Adhesives: UHU All Purpose Adhesive, Bazic foam tape and two sided tape.
Other generic materials:
7/8" gross grain ribbon in soft pink

Metallic cardstock in cream and soft pink
Tule

The card base was a left over of some actual CAS wedding invitations I was commended to make (didn't take pictures of those, no time). The image is pre-colored so it was a matter of layering die cuts and adding embellishments to finish the card. I crossed two pieces of ribbon and added a double bow and some tule to give it a delicate look.

I hope you liked this sweet wedding card and that you feel inspired to participate on our weekly challenge. There's no need to use digital stamps, or our sponsor stamps whatsoever, as long as you follow the theme. Visit Hiding in my Craft Room to see what my teammates made.

Remember to stop by my latest giveaway post and comment for a chance to win my newest digital paper pack!

Thanks for your visit.

  1. Gracie,
Sweet card. Love the cute little digi, and colored to, how perfect. Your base looks pearlized, was it that way, or did you create it? Another good job.

    1. Thank you. It is pearlescent metallic cardstock, used usually on wedding cards.
